Biography
Melissa is a Professional Coach, Licensed Professional Counselor & Talent Strategist with a BA in Psychology & Communications (Denison University), MS in Counseling Psychology (KU) & Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Mental Health (USD). Her career spans over 2½ decades, with the 1st 24 years working for Accenture. Her early career years were in Management Consulting followed by roles in Global HR & Organizational Design, leadership development and performance management. She lived through over 7 organizational changes & understands the importance of defining values, skills & behaviors required for successful change. Her passion is empowering others to ignite their potential which led her to start The Human Group, LLC. She is an Accredited Coach through ICF & Professional Counselor. She splits her time counseling, coaching, assessing & consulting with M&As & companies in hyper growth modes.
She lives in KC & is a married, proud mom of 3 daughters, volunteer, musical theater lover, OTF workout enthusiast & world traveler.
