PRESIDENT, GINA MARX


Dr. Gina Marx of Wichita, Kansas earned her PCC in 2013 and is working on her MCC. She has been coaching for 20 years and is a former ICF Heartland board member and President. She spent her career in educational leadership, teaching leadership coaching at the university level, and was a full-time corporate coach. Her passion is supporting others to be their best selves and maximizing programs and organizations. 

VICE PRESIDENT, RACHELLE HUDDLESTON


Rachelle Huddleston of the Kansas City area. She is a licensed clinical psychotherapist with a strong background in organizational change and a certified facilitator of The Coaching Clinic through Coach U. Rachelle has earned her Professional Coach Certification (PCC) and is a former ICF Heartland board member and President, as well as a former President of the ICF Arizona Chapter. Rachelle has published a self-coaching tool, Five Minutes to Inspired Action and Results for Professionals.

TREASURER, KATHERINE ALSIP


Katherine Alsip of the Kansas City area is a former ICF Heartland board member and President. She is a serial entrepreneur, with most of her ventures focused on leadership and team development. Katherine fell in love with coaching and has been devoted to elevating coaches and serving the coaching community since 2015. Her previous coaching experience includes small business ownership, non-profit chapter leadership, and coach training. When she is not helping others achieve their potential, one can find her giving her children way too many snacks, or in nature, or playing pickleball.

SECRETARY, LEZA CHRYSSOVERGIS

Leza Chryssovergis. On a whim she decided to apply for a coaching certification last year offered through the Department of the Army and didn’t know it would be something that changed her life. She finished the Coaching Culture Facilitator’s Course April 2022 and became an ICF ACC in Aug 2023. Her career has always revolved around education. She was in the private sector as a classroom teacher and principal and am currently a federal employee. During her tenure as a Department of the Army civilian professional, she has been a Customer Service Coordinator, Instructional Systems Design Specialist with an emphasis on leader development, member of the Army accreditation team, Workforce Development Chief, and Army University Enterprise Registrar. She currently works for the Department of the Treasury as an Instructional Systems Specialist. She has a BS in Elementary Education from the College of Saint Rose, Albany, NY, a MA in Linguistic Analysis/Teaching English as a Second Language from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY and a MA in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ. She has also completed post-graduate work in Education Research and Advanced Studies with a Curriculum and Instruction concentration from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH. She has been married into a military family for 20 years. I am a bonus mom to two wonderful adult children and a dog mom. 

DIRECTOR OF EVENTS, COL. JOHN MOORE


Col. John Moore of Overland Park, Kansas made the transition to coaching upon retiring from 34 years of Army service. He earned his PCC in 2014 and is working toward his MCC. John is a former ICF Heartland board member and President. He works with senior leaders and assists them in strengthening their influence so they can create positive and productive organizational climates that endure and build strong organizational growth. John and his company work in the for-profit, not-for-profit, and government sectors and provide pro-bono coaching to a variety of relief and service organizations.

ASHLEY WATKINS, DIRECTOR OF MARKETING


Ashley Watkins, ACC, M.A.T., brings over two decades of experience in education to her role as a Teen and Young Adult Life Coach. With a background as a high school journalism and English teacher, Ashley discovered her true calling lay in supporting the social and emotional growth of her students. This realization prompted her transition into coaching, a path she pursued with dedication and passion. Certified by Coach Training EDU in February 2021, Ashley established her practice, Ashley Watkins Coaching, where she engages in personalized one-on-one sessions with teens and young adults. Her primary focus is on empowering her clients to cultivate mental well-being without resorting to self-medication. Additionally, Ashley leverages her expertise as a Professional Learning Consultant with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where she aids teachers in implementing digital literacy programs, further extending her impact in the educational realm.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ashley finds joy in various activities. Whether she's immersing herself in nature through hiking, camping, and kayaking, trying new recipes in the kitchen or exploring new dining experiences, delving into a good book, or tuning into thought-provoking podcasts, Ashley embraces life with enthusiasm and curiosity.

DIRECTOR OF CREDENTIALING SUPPORT, TERESA SCHWAB


Teresa Schwab is the President of Arnavon Strategies, a firm offering highly customized leadership

development training, as well as individual, team, and group coaching; peer coaching circle facilitation;

mentor coaching; and coaching skills training for managers. She is also a founding partner with Ad Astra

Coach Alliance, an organization committed to transforming organizations with targeted coaching

solutions. Teresa holds a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and is a

Master Certified Coach (MCC) through the International Coaching Federation. Teresa is a member

ofthe Kansas Leadership Center faculty and coach teams, and she is an instructor with the University

of Kansas Public Management Center. She is a Breakthrough Coaching Advanced Practitioner, and she

is trained in Case in Point facilitation, the Kegan and Lahey Immunity to Change approach, and is also

Dare to Lead trained. She is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and a Certified Total SDI Facilitator.


MEMBERSHIP CHAIR, LIZ DOBBINS
Liz Dobbins MCC is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and Mentor through the International Coach Federation (ICF) with accreditations in Sensory/Somatic coaching and Cultural Intelligence based in neuroscience. Having been an educator, high performance coach, and consultant for more than 30 + years, I integrate the power of human body intelligence into my coaching methods to support my clients in a holistic approach to the results they desire.
